If you've ever been out dancing -- swing, salsa, west coast -- you'll notice that many dancers stick with their usual partners and circle of friends. It can be hard to get up the courage to go over and ask someone to dance. One solution: Salsa Speed Dance Dating. Here's how it works: You dance with a random person. Every two minutes or so, you're forced to switch partners and find someone new to dance with. (The DJ will tell you that time is up.) Designed for both beginners and experienced dancers, this sounds like a lot of fun and -- dare we say it? -- a great way to meet new people.
